Blog tour: We could be heroes by PJ Ellis

 

It's my second blog tour in two days but I'm not complaining! This time it's a cute gay romance with superheroes and a fun historical twist. Thanks to Insta Blog Tours for bringing me on this tour and Harper North for supplying me with a copy in exchange for an honest review. Anyway with that out the way on with the review

Plot time : in the 1940s Captain Kismet is created by an extraordinary married couple. Now the movie is being made and Patrick is a closeted man playing the lead. While filming in Birmingham he meets Will, a drag queen, who he starts to fall for. 

This book gave me all the feels. It's a cute rom com with a bit of spice. Honestly this book was hilarious I was travelling when I was reading this and I had to try stopping myself laughing out loud!

I absolutely adored the characters and how fun they were the whole cast is amazing. Patrick was probably my faves he is just such a sweetie. 

It follows the conventional rom-com formula but with the historical elements make it feel fresh again. This book is honestly one of my favourites I've read this year.

Overall this book is a super fun read that would be perfect for the beach. I totally reccomend it.
