Sisters of the Snake by Sarena and Sasha Nanua

And I'm back with another ARC review this one given to me by Team BKMRK in exchange for an honest review. This one is intriguing as it is written by twins. You often see Co-authors around and they seem to be becoming more popular especially as Lee Child is now working with one in the bestselling Jack Reacher series. You may even see child and parent co authors. But You don't often see twins and thats what drew me to this book as well as the truly gorgeous cover! Anyway onto the review!
Sisters of the Snake is about Ria and Rani. One is a princess the other a thief. Both of them bound by a prophecy they know nothing of and both of them with strong incredible magic over snakes.

This story was super fun. Very much like The Parent Trap with a little bit of Avatar the Last Air Bender thrown in. The world building kept me captivated the whole way through and I wanted to learn more. The idea of magic still being alive depsite everyone being told it isn't is fascinating and Rani and Ria's snake powers are incredible.

The switching between Ria and Rani was fantastic, easy to follow and at times completely nailbiting. I was always concerned that they were going to get caught and yet they seemed to escape every time. You end up rooting for both of them and to be honest I couldn't choose as to who was my favourite at all.

Plus not to give it all away but that ending! It was so good and the last chapters were so well written and incredibly stresfull. You'll be on the edge of your seat.

Overall this book was a super fun read that would be great to read over the summer holidays. Would definitley read more from Sasha and Sarena!
