Two Nautical Reads Not to Miss this Spring!

So it's odd when a mini trend turns up in a genre/age range. It's also odd when both the books you are thinking of are super super good. They are also both sequels strangely enough! So I thought today we'd look at two fantastic Middle Grade books with nautical themes of varying types!

Gargantis by Thomas Taylor

The sequel to the best selling Malamander, Gargantis takes us back to Eerie on Sea to see our faviorite Lost and Founder Herbie Lemon and his friend Violet Parma. When a mysterious stranger turns up in Eerie strange events start happening and we all know whos going to ahve to save the town!

This is a great little mystery. Lots of twists and turns and really interesting moments that had me hooked from the start. This is a fantastic mystery and all the codes and clues will keep you hooked to the end. Totaly reccomend.

The StrangeWorlds Travel Agency: Edge of the Ocean by LD. Lapinski

Following the first book Flick and Jonathan are back with new friends and a new massive adventure. This time they are trying to save the world of The Break which is literally falling apart in front of it's terrorfied piratical inhabitants.

It's as fantastic as the first one and just as LGBT+ inclusive in fact even more so than the first. Also Jonathan needs a hug pronto! As usual Lapinski delivers big time and gives us another fantastic story with an ending that wrecked me completely. I will never be the same!

Anyway so there they are two cute MG Nautical reads to keep you entertained this spring!

I will be back with more bookish content and hopefully some film content.

Thanks for reading and Ahoy me Hearties!
