SHORT FILM FRIDAY: Kristin McMenamy: The Little Mermaid?

SO every Friday there will be a new short film and a brief overview as to why you should watch it. Theres a lot of different genres lined up do tell me what you think of the format. New plan you see, i love short film used to watch a lot and stopped due to my course finishing but now i'm bringing it back and what better one to start with than something this beautiful.

Directed by Tim Walker and starring Kristin Mc Menamy, the film shows a mermaid dying trying to get out a tank. The camera shines on her as she tries to escape and she is seen contorting. There is no dialogue just sound. The secret to watching it is letting it just wash over you. It's a fantastic short film and absolutely gorgeous and heartbreaking.
